"Graff et Guerre" : L'exposition temporaire - anglais
Temporary exhibition
Graff and War
The violence and scale of the First World War and contemporary conflicts are often a source of inspiration for artists. Their works pay tribute, question and sometimes denounce. Artists take up this subject and express themselves in the same way as some soldiers did at the time, with trench art for example.
From 3 March 2025 to 1 February 2026, the Musée de la Bataille de Fromelles is delighted to welcome a new temporary exhibition: ‘Graff and War’. This exhibition has been produced by the Centre Culturel et Social Flers Sart in Villeneuve d'Ascq. It was created thanks to the joint work of street art artists and young people from the centre. The exhibition shows how current and local artists look at history, particularly contemporary conflicts.
Admission is free. Available in English and French
