Even today, the landscape of Les Weppes is marked by numerous traces of the Great War. The concrete shelters bear witness to the trench warfare that took place in the area. Come and discover the history of their construction, how they worked and how they evolved during the conflict.

From 2 March 2026 to 31 January 2027, come and discover the new temporary exhibition: ‘The Fortified Weppes Front: Concrete Put to the Test of War’ at the Battle of Fromelles Museum.
